The 2024 BigHobbler, Nigel Crouch Memorial trial. Venue and Course Setters to be confirmed.

This trial is not part of either the Summer or Winter Championships but a fun event to help keep Nigel’s memory & legacy alive.

Nigel sadly passed away early in 2018. Nigel served on the Club’s Committee for over 40 years, many of those as the Club’s Treasurer. Nigel was very supportive to all club members but especially for the newer and younger riders. Nigel had a big heart and a cheeky smile. He is very sorely missed – but he remains, very fondly remembered.

There are a couple of awards up for grabs – The Nigel Crouch Memorial Cup & The Nigel Mason Crouch, True Spirit Award. These are sponsored by two of Nigel’s very good friends, Dave Rose & Joe Henderson. These awards can be won by anyone at the trial as they are not based on the results alone. Recipients will be announced very soon after the event.
