Automated External Defibrillator Training

2 years ago • 19/11/2021Posted by Wayne Brodie

The Club is pleased to have an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) which is available at all our club events.

These devices are designed to be used by anyone - once the lid is opened, there are verbal instructions on what to do next. However as with most things some training/familiarisation can be very beneficial - particularily in potentially stressful circumstances.

The Club is looking for upto 12 members to attend a training session in January 2022. The training will be delivered by The IOW Ambulance Training & Community Response Service. The final details are yet to be confirmed, but it will be an evening session starting at 6pm - for approx 1 to 2 hours.

Please contact Wayne (over this weekend) if you want to attend. Send a text to 07824 318491 or an email to: [email protected].

If there are more than 12 volunteers - priority will be given to those who regularly attend club trials.
