Chris Stay wins 2019 ACU British Expert Solo Expert Championship..... Chris went into round 8 with a slender 4 point lead from Dan Thorpe. Chris managed a fantastic ‘under pressure’ ride to win by 1 - extending his points advantage to 7 going into the final round..... Dan Thorpe, being the talented competitor he is, refused to lie down to win round 9 by just 2 marks..... But Chris had already done the hard work with his consistent & determined riding throughout the year to win the title..... Very many congratulations to Chris, Dad; Alan Stay and close friends; Mark Coombes and George Gosden for an unrivaled team performance!....
