Clerk of Course?
Hi IOWMCC, is anyone interested in gaining an ACU Regional Clerk of Course Licence?
Our Club needs a few volunteers! We currently only have 4 licenced ‘Clerk of Courses’ but after November this year this number drops to just 3.
There were plans to be put in place to stage a second trials practice day this month but unfortunately none of those 4 licence holders were available on the selected date and so the practice day had to be postponed.
It is a legal requirement for the club to have a qualified C of C present at all trials and practice days etc.
To get a C of C licence you will be required to attend a Seminar/training day which for us on the Island pretty much means committing to a full day.
The next course is being held on Saturday 5th December, at Otterbourne village hall, Otterbourne.
Southern Centre will cover the cost of training and provide lunch. The Club will cover all your travel expenses. Ideally 3 or 4 volunteers that can travel by car/van from East Cowes to Southampton.
Please let me know if you are interested so I can get you booked on the Seminar before all the places get taken.
