2026 Wight Two-Day Trial
Hi everyone.
I want thank the many people involved in staging this year's very successfull Wight Two-Day Trial. It would be a huge task for a large club to achieve. But for a small club like The IOWMCC, it is a mammoth effort!
Prepping 2 venues, setting 24 sections, 4 routes, 2 Landowners, 24 Observers, 2 travelling Marshalls, 3 different sets of results, Centre Steward, Admin team, Section Sponsors, Club Committee members and loads of other willing volunteers/supporters & helpers along the way - I have counted getting on for 40 people involved in getting this year's trial to happen - not to mention the very understanding spouces/partners who have been missing their other halves over the last few weeks!
I'm deliberatley not name checking individuals - because I would almost certainly miss someone out. Except for the the cooperation shown by Alton & District Motorcycle Club, particularly by Kev Nolan, who represented Alton at The Two-Day Trial.
Superb outcome people - the Sport of Trials lives to fight another day!
Whilst the reigns (handlebars) will soon be handed over to others - I very much look forward to next year's Wight Two-Day Trial, perhaps even as a rider!
Cheers.
