Vectis Viewfinder
For those that were at the 1st Pat Death Summer Series trial at Roud last month, you may remember we had a guest photographer at the event. His name is Andrew and he heads up a publication called the Vectis Viewfinder. He’s told me he managed to capture all riders at the trial at least once.
‘The Vectis Viewfinder it is a photographic printed journal of Isle of Wight culture and sport in monochrome, with each edition to be archived with the British Library. The journal is published bi-annually, with editions January-June and July-December each year. Each edition is around 200-300 pages and will cover many aspects of Island life’.
Andrew is also planning to attend the remaining two Summer Series rounds and the BigHobbler too. Pics from rounds 1 and 2 will appear in the Jan/June edition which is due for release July/August and one of our youth riders features on the front cover!
Round 3 and Nigel’s Memorial trial will published in the July/December edition.
Although it is a photographic journal, there is also space for written pieces to accompany the pics. The Club has submitted a brief club history and a trial report for the 1st Summer Series round and a report for the 2nd round may also be submitted.
