Brief news from the Club's A.G.M.
All last year’s Committee members have been re-elected. However, there remains a vacant position - Press Secretary! There were 3 new members voted onto the Committee: Alan Gosden, Debs & Derek Farndell. Alan is returning to the committee after a lengthy break whilst Debs and Derek are completely new. I would like to extend a warm welcome to the three of them.
The Committee meets on the second Tuesday of the month – if club members want the Committee to consider any issues they may have please bring them to the attention of any Committee Member or by contacting Kate Baker, our Club Secretary.

We are keen to get this important ‘Press Secretary’ position filled. One of the points raised at the meeting was low turnout at club trials. If trial reports are available on our website, Facebook Group and in the local press they generate interest and boost the Club's profile. I’m convinced this will have a positive effect on entries.
There were two nominations for 2025 Club Member of the year. Tristan Osborne and Andy Scott-Jackson. Andy Scott-Jackson took the spoils. Congratulations Andy.
There was praise for the 2025 Two-Day Organising Team following a very successful trial. The team members were largely new to the organising side of the event – and they did an excellent job.
