The clubman class was the closest fought on the day where, after bending his bike on a tricky ending to section 3 a regular winner Dave Barnes had to settle for second on this occasion loosing out by just two marks to an excellent ride from Andy Scott-Jackson.
Simon Newnham and Wayne Brodie both took convincing wins in the intermediate and novice class respectively.
Joss Wright managed had a fantastic ride to gain a score of 40 in the uncontested youth clubman class.

Summer Series Round 2:
Limerstone Farm
Thanks to Geoff and Mary Case for the use of a fantastic venue, and thanks to Calvin and Andy for setting a brilliant trial.
The stand-out scores come from George Gosden, to win the uncontested expert class with out loosing a single dab, and Nick Symes finishing with just the one to take a convincing win in the twin-shock class on some very challenging sections.
Once again the clubman class was very closely contested, Ben Gourley adds another narrow win to his tally, with just one mark less than M. Coombs.
Summer Series Round 1:
Haslett Sandpit
Our first round of the Summer Series and our first glimpse of sun both arrived simultaneously this Sunday. The best spectacle of the day was at Section 7, where everyone gathered to watch the intermediates and clubmen tackle a sheer cliff-face out of the sandpit!
Will West took a solid victory in the Inter class. Ben Gourley pipped Dave Barnes by 3 points to take the Clubman class. Wayne Brodie took the Novice win, while Nick Symes eased to victory in the twinshock. Paul Kent and J Furnell took the wins in the beginner, and under-80cc classes respectively. Honourable mentions to Brian Gourley, Jos Wright and D Wright, who all had a lonely ride to victory in their respective classes.
Big thanks to Calvin, Joe and Simon for setting the course.
